Privacy policy

We only process your personal data (hereinafter referred to as “Data”) as required and for the purpose of providing a functional and user-friendly website, particularly in terms of its content and the services offered.

In accordance with Art. 4(1) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the Basic Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”) corresponds to any operation or set of operations carried out with or without automated processes and applied to personal data or sets of data, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, reading, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or any other means of reconciliation or combination, limitation, erasure or destruction.

Our privacy policy mainly provides you with information on the nature, scope, purpose, duration and legal basis of the processing of personal data, as we decide on the purposes and means of the processing, alone or together with other partners. We also inform you about third-party partners with whom we work for the purpose of optimising and increasing the quality of use, where the latter process the data under their own responsibility.

II. Rights of the user and the parties concerned

With regard to the data processing described below in more detail, users and data subjects have the right:

To obtain confirmation that data is being processed, to know what kind of data is being processed, to obtain additional information about the data processing and copies of the data (see also Art. 15 GDPR);
To be able to correct or complete incorrect or incomplete data (see Art. 16 GDPR);
To be able to delete their data immediately (see also Art. 17 GDPR), or, to know whether further processing, in accordance with Art. 17, paragraph 3 of the GDPR, is required. To be able to restrict the processing, in accordance with Art. 18 of the GDPR;
To be able to obtain the data concerning them which they have provided, and to know whether this data has been passed on to other providers/authorities (see also Art. 20 GDPR);
To lodge a complaint with the supervisory authorities if they consider that the provider is in breach of data protection regulations (see also Art. 77 GDPR).
In addition, the provider is obliged to inform all recipients, to whom the data has been disclosed, of any changes, deletions of data or restrictions of processing, in accordance with Art. 16, 17 (1), 18 GDPR. However, this obligation does not apply if the provision of the information proves impossible or involves disproportionate efforts. The user is nevertheless entitled to obtain information about these recipients.

Similarly, pursuant to Art. 21 of the GDPR, users and data subjects may object to the further processing of their data if the data is processed by the provider in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. In particular, it is permissible to object to the processing of data for the purpose of direct advertising.

III Information on data processing

Your data processed during the use of our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the reason for its storage is no longer applicable, or if its deletion does not conflict with the legal storage requirements. No further information will be provided on the individual processing methods.

Server data
For technical reasons, in particular to ensure the security and stability of the website, data is transmitted to us via your Internet browser or to our web space provider. The server log files collect: the type and version of your Internet browser, your operating system, the website from which you arrived at our site (referring URL), the page(s) of our site that you visited, the date and time of access, and finally, the IP address of the Internet connection from which the use of our site took place.

This collected data will be temporarily stored, but will not be shared with other data about you.

This storage is carried out in accordance with Art. 6, paragraph 1, point f) of the GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in this data as it contributes to the improvement, stability, functionality and security of our website.

The data will be deleted after seven days at the latest, unless we need to keep it longer for evidential purposes. In this case, all or part of the data will be kept until the problem has been resolved.

We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files, or other storage technologies, that are deposited and stored on your device by the browser you use. These cookies process certain information about you, such as your browser, your location or your IP address.

This processing makes our site more user-friendly, efficient and secure, as it allows us, for example, to reproduce our site in different languages or to offer a shopping cart function.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6, paragraph 1, point b.) of the GDPR, insofar as these cookies are used to process or execute the contract.

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics on our website. Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.

The Google Analytics service is used to analyse user behaviour on our website. The legal basis for this is Art. 6, paragraph 1, point f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimisation and cost-effective operation of our website.

Usage and user information, such as IP address, location, time or frequency of visits to our website, is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, we use Google Analytics with the anonymisation function. This function enables Google to truncate the IP address in the EU and EEA.

The data collected in this way will again be used by Google to provide us with an evaluation of the visit to our website, as well as the usage activities on this website. In addition, this data may be used to provide other services related to the use of our website and the use of the Internet.
